The ignition module is the middle part of the ignition system which sends a signal from the key switch to a sensor on the distributor. Without this ignition module, the automobile will not start or cause the automobile to stall during acceleration. Common problems with the ignition module can create havoc with determining the proper repairs. Well I am having ignition problems I believe. I have a 92 Trans am that I have installed a new motor and the Holley Dominator ecu. Problem is I am getting no RPM signal and no spark. I have checked all of my wiring, and all of the fuses that I can find. It cranks just fine but won't fire. I am using a brand new 8366 msd distributor. I replaced the coil, the ignition module and still no spark.

A remote ignition box mounted outside the engine bay is more reliable, regardless of the brand. While its possible youve purchased a number of defective 8352s, I'd suspect something else is contributing to the problem.
